It is not a medical device. It does not establish a provider–patient relationship. It does not recommend a specific injection — only a starting point for a conversation with a licensed, board-certified provider who will assess your anatomy and history in person.

If any of these apply, the right next step is a provider — not a product page:

• Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• Active skin infection or inflammation at the desired area
• History of severe allergies, anaphylaxis, or filler complications
• Autoimmune or connective-tissue disease (e.g., lupus, scleroderma, RA)
• History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Known allergy to lidocaine or any filler component

The most serious risk — rare but catastrophic — is intravascular injection causing vascular occlusion, skin necrosis, or, very rarely, vision loss. This risk exists for every filler and is managed by injector training and technique. Provider skill matters more than product brand.

Common, transient effects include swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, and small palpable lumps. Less common but important: delayed nodules and granulomas (especially with biostimulators and permanent fillers), infection, and asymmetry.

Two categories to actively avoid:

• Injectable liquid silicone or silicone gel for cosmetic filling. Not FDA-approved for wrinkle correction or tissue augmentation anywhere in the body.
• Unapproved imported fillers sold online or through non-medical channels. The FDA has warned consumers; quality, sterility, and identity cannot be verified.

Every quiz answer maps to a published safety rule, a product indication, or a documented preference weight. Safety screens always override scoring: a high-scoring product is suppressed if any gate eliminates it. We require clinical sign-off on every gate, weight, and result string before launch, and re-verify each quarter against FDA's PMA database (product codes LMH for face, PKY for hands).

Your quiz answers and saved results are stored locally on your device in your browser. We do not transmit, share, or sell your answers. If we add accounts or providers in a later phase, we will publish a full privacy policy and a clear consent flow first.
